August 25, 2010 (I couldn't think of a better title.)

Here is Micah on his boppy pillow. He used to love tummy time, now he is not a huge fan. I put him on his tummy and within a minute he is fussing. I let him fuss for a couple of minutes, then I prop him up on the boppy for awhile longer.

He is Micah on his new favorite toy. I should have (story of my life) got a picture of the whole toy. It is a jumperoo. He likes to talk to all of the animals on the toy.

I don't even want to know what these two are watching on TV. Micah does not seem to be enjoying himself.

Micah has started waking up 3 and 4 times a night again. I can't get him back to sleep without feeding him. He falls asleep while I am feeding him, so I am only up for about 15 minutes. Hopefully, he will go back to sleeping 7-8 hours in a row. Fingers crossed. Also, he is not taking his naps as well. I am a trying to get him to take less naps that are longer than 30 minutes, but no luck yet. He's my little box of chocolates, I never know how our days and nights are going to go. Either way, they are always fun.

Matt was helping to plan a party for his squadron, so I took Micah there to see his Daddy. Here he is in a Hummer. He looks so little. Hopefully this is no indication of a future career.

Hi Dad!

As of yesterday, Micah weighs 18 lbs 9 oz. Which means he only gained 4 oz last week, which is what is what babies normally gain in a week. he was gaining between 8 oz to a lb a week.

aybe/hopefully he is sloing down a bit. My back could use a little break.

Happy 3 Month Birthday!!

WOW, 3 months already! Time sure does fly when you're having fun. Micah and I have fun every day. He got weighed today: 17 lbs and 10 oz. He shocks the doctors and nurses every time they weigh him. Micah holds his head up really well now. Not sure when it happened, everything seems to fly by. Micah is a very happy boy! He is still taking a nap between each feeding. So he wakes up, gets a pant change, eats, plays, and then goes down for a nap. It's a rough life, but someone's gotta do it.

Two happy boys! We will see if next month's picture has Micah in his bumbo seat.

Micah loves to sit and stare at his toes. I know it won't be too long before his feet find his mouth.

Daddy's Squadron Picnic ~ July 22

Even though it was July, it was windy and chilly that day. I had to stop on our way and buy Micah a hat. It is hard to find hats like this for babies older than newborns in the middle of summer. But, he sure makes it look good!!
