Pumpkin Patch ~ 2010

We had the best time at the pumpkin patch. Micah was a good boy the whole time. He usually is an angel when we are out and about. If we are home though he likes to have a nap every hour. We didn't get any pumpkins to carve, because Matt was leaving right afterwards, but we bought three little ones for our table.

Some things about Micah that I forgot to write in my last post:

He is now 21 obs 8 oz as of Oct 12.

He is eating bananas, peaches, pears, peas - not a fan, and sweet potatoes.

When he is nursing, most of the time he turns his right foot clockwise, it really is cute.

He can sit up by himself, I guess the pics of the last post showed that.

He still is not rolling over. He cries when I put him on his tummy.

He sleeps between 9-11 hours in a stretch starting at 6:30 at night.

He loves his hands. He thinks they are the most amazing things.

I know I said he has one tooth poking through, now the one next to it decided to join in the fun. He really has not been fussy about it. Just a little extra drool.

Happy 5 Months Baby Bear!!!!

This is the last month that he will be taking his monthly pictures with Hawkeye. :( Hawkeye is going to stay with a friend, while Micah and I spend 6 months in Texas, while Matt is deployed. He will be taking his pictures with Booger, my parents tiny dog, from now on.

His hair usually only shows up red in pictures. Sometimes the light will catch it right and we can see it. His shirts are courteous of his AnT (Aunt Teresa.)

His is a very happy go lucky boy. I love his smiles!

Micah really is a happy boy. He loves morning, just like his Momma. The only time he gets cranky is sometimes in the evening. He goes to bed by 6:30, he eats once or twice in the middle of the night and is up by 5:30 to 6:30 ready to start his day. He takes 3-4 naps a day.

We have started him on solid food. He LOVES bananas. He is a good eater. He still nurses just as much, but has solid food three times a day. He loves his stroller. I try to take him on a couple of walks a day. On Oct 8th he started cutting his first tooth. It is slowly, but surely making it's way out. On Sept 21st, Micah had a doctor's appointment. He was 20 lbs and 26.5 inches. He is 95% for height and weight.

Just in the last week or so, Micah has started to notice Hawkeye. He reaches for him, if Hawkeye is close. Hawkeye could really care less about Micah. He just wants our attention.

"Is this okay Mom?"

Micah meets AnT for the first time. He really liked her the first two days she was here, then not so much. Poor AnT. Micah is just going to have to get used to her.

It's true, everything is bigger in Texas.
