Animals Hiding from the Camera

The Day Matt Left; March 9, 2008

Sorry the pics are so out of order, I just post them as I get them. Here is a pic of the day Matt left on his 6 month deployment. I am not quite sure how they caught me with a smile.

Animals in the Bathroom

I have said it before and I will say it again, the next time we get a pet, it will be normal. Probably not. My animals like to hang out in the bathroom with me when I get ready in the morning.

Camping/White Water Rafting Trip; September 12-14, 2008

The first pic is me being myself. The second is right before we went rafting. I think the third is obvious. And the last is us sitting around a campfire. We had a lot of fun rafting on 4 and 5 rapids. We hope to do it again next year. We went with a 3 other couples that Matt met while deployed. After the rafting trip we had the chance to jump off a bridge into the river. I think the bridge was about 1 1/2 to 2 stories above the water. For some reason I felt the need to jump, and poor Matt couldn't let me jump with out him. He blames me for him jumping, but it was awesome!

I wonder what they are looking at...

Our last day together!

Matt's Deployment

Matt has been deployed for about a month and a half.  Time is dragging for both of us, however, we are both very thankful he will only be gone 6 months.  Matt is being an investigator over there, which he is very good at.  I am spending my time going to school and taking care of our animals.  Oh, I am also on a lifestyle change journey.  Journey is my new favorite word.  I am really enjoying my journey.  This new lifestyle is wonderful, and I recommend it to almost everyone I talk to.  I hope to keep this blog active with pictures and updates on Matt.  Thanks for reading.
